SPATIAL DESIGN
BARBARO
Project developed during my time as Spaces Creative Director in Anagrama Studio.
For BARBARO , an italian restaurant in San Pedro, we worked to create an italian experience without falling into the usual design style for these type of restaurants.
Anagrama’s branding team designed a tile pattern for the middle area of the restaurant which served as a focus point that visually separated the small space in areas: Benches and seating arrangements parted to the sides while the center held the host’s custom made console at the front with some descreet seating spots behind it. The restaurant was made to feel bigger with the ceiling glass vault detail while the lighting was planned to make the space feel cozy and welcoming. The bar seats face the oven where pizzas are prepared from scratch providing a different experience for the clients who decide to enjoy their meal in that specific area.
